Hello Jaguar Love Friends,
In anticipation of the August 19 release of our debut album, Take Me To The Sea (Pre-order here for just a couple pennies shy of $10 and get a free poster), we’re hoping you might give us a hand in getting the word out about JL with a little contest.
We just uploaded “Highways of Gold” to our MySpace profile and this is where the contest comes in…
SHOW US YOUR JAGUAR LOVE
Starting today, we’re asking Jaguar Love fans to select “Highways of Gold” as their default MySpace homepage song. Between now and August 26, we’ll randomly visit our friends’ pages - the first five people we find who have featured “Highways of Gold” will win a SHOW US YOUR JAGUAR LOVE prizepack, including:
- Jaguar Love T-Shirts, stickers and posters
- Autographed Take Me To The Sea CDs and LPs
- Tickets to see the band live the next time they’re in your area
Remember to leave the song up through the 26th - you never know when we’ll be checking in on your MySpace page.

Just click on the “Add” link next to the song and it will automatically be added to your profile. Then just sit back and hope that we check out your profile in the next 3 weeks! Saw you guys open for the faint. Loved it! Not sure who played after you…oh! Shy Child! Yeah, their drummer was sweet, but the lead was pissing me off. It’s not 1984. You know? The whole Axel Rose thing sucked. The Faint were excellent. But you guys should have the #2 slot, as your music was much more enjoyable than Shy Child, and therefor you deserve to have an extended play time. Fuck Shy Child. Except their drummer.
